MIPA and the Art of the Modern: Revolution of the Interiors in the Historic Pavillon Palace

The historic Pavillon Faubourg Saint-Germain Palace, once a proud residence and transformed into a luxury hotel since the 1900s, has entered a new era of elegance. Under the guidance of architect Vincent Bastie and interior designer Didier Benderli, a complete renovation was undertaken.

The distinctive touch of this transformation is also due to the use of MIPA's terrazzo, chosen for the bathroom floors.

In the restyling of the 47 rooms and suites, the French designer indeed chose the SLABS collection by MIPA in its Ice, Stone, and Urban variants, which, in contrast to the more modern style of the furnishings, give the bathroom environment a unique and distinctive look.

As Benderli himself writes about the choice of MIPA, “The bathrooms are bubbles of modernity. (…) The Terrazzo floor brings a visual change to the ultra-graphic environment.”
