The Allure of Mipa's Terrazzo in Àlea Studio's Roman Kitchen

In the pulsating center of Rome, within the distinguished Cortina d’Ampezzo district, amidst picturesque luxury residences cloaked in verdant green, emerges a novel interior project, the brainchild of ÀLEA STUDIO, a visionary architecture and design practice founded by Flaminia Liberati and Michele Rutigliano.

An integral attribute that sets this project apart is the judicious and strategic incorporation of terrazzo, handpicked by MIPA to grace the kitchen region.

Paying homage to Italian tradition, the terrazzo is revived in a modern context, infusing the space with a hint of subdued yet enduring elegance.

The decision to confine the terrazzo to the kitchen was driven by the aspiration to establish a focal point of interest within the apartment, a confluence of tastes and trends, reminiscences, and innovation.

The terrazzo, with its distinctive texture and warm hue, immaculately fulfils this demand, fostering a hospitable and character-filled ambiance.

This endeavor reiterates the pivotal role MIPA assumes in the sphere of architecture and interior design, whilst endorsing the significance of terrazzo as an emblem of style and a defining feature of environments.
